Generation AI Awards, the first award for business applications of generative AI, announces the launch of its second season and the opening of submissions. Winners will be selected by a jury comprising AI leaders and recognized experts in generative technologies from leading technology companies: Just AI, Yandex, Avito, MWS AI, X5, Sovcombank Technologies, Alfa-Bank, Skolkovo Foundation, Ozon, Severstal, and others.
Submissions to Generation AI Awards are free of charge. Applications are accepted across 12 categories, including best generative AI project, technology innovation of the year, digital transformation of the year, best startup, best in-house project, best customer support solution, and more. The jury will objectively evaluate all submitted projects based on criteria such as technological maturity, economic potential, and scalability prospects.
Yulia Pivovarova, COO of Just AI and Chair of the Generation AI Awards 2026 jury, commented: "Generation AI Awards is a mirror of the maturity of the Russian generative technology market. In 2025, we saw projects where participants were still experimenting with generative AI, and today we look forward to those who have moved from pilots to sustainable business models."
Last year, Generation AI Awards received over 150 submissions. The grand prize went to Avito for its proprietary LLM family, which became the foundation for a large-scale GenAI deployment across the company's services. Other award recipients included Sovcombank, Alfa-Bank, SberZdorovye, ITMO, and others.
The award ceremony will take place on June 25 in Saint Petersburg at Conversations, a conference on generative and conversational AI hosted by Just AI. Submissions for Generation AI Awards 2026 are open until April 20.
